There were about 60 enthusiastic Democrats at the City of Fairfax Democratic Committee’s annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner, including Congressman Gerry Connolly, Senator Chap Petersen, and Delegate David Boulova- all of whom, by the way, had some funny stories to tell, often funny-asinine when describing the ridiculous or infuriating antics of Republican colleagues doing their Republican thing (better not say any more ’bout that, given our wide readership). Also present were several candidates for City School Board and City Council, and some students from GMU.

As always, the friendly City Democrats partied well and had a great time, including door prizes (scraping off those lottery tickets was hard work, let me tell you)
