I take issue with the idea the Feiller is an excellent author.  In Moses America’s Prophet, he basically says Moses is the land of the Jews, then connects every old testament verse with every American History anecdote. He basically takes the story of Uncle Tom’s Cabin as fact. He has lines like Washington swore an oath on a Bible, bam US is Old Testament, without citing back up facts. He skips around time periods.  I have not read any other books, I’m sure he is well versed in religion. But he is not a great American Historian. He was way out of his league in that book. He may be a good author, but he is too young to be a excellent author.
