With a “leader” like Saslaw why do Dem. candidates need enemies ? The only positive I can think of about Salaw is that he isn’t running for DPVA chair. Why on earth doesn’t the Dem. Senate majority elect a real leader. Obviously, I’d suggest Donald, but I doubt he will ever challenge Saslaw although I can’t figure out why – he is the dictionary definition of a real leader, and so far as I have ever heard there’s is no Dem. state Senator who has any personal or political problems with Donald, with the possible exception of Sen. Colgan who has always been a DINO and usually votes with the GOP, but does help maintain the Dem. slim majority by placing that “D” in front of his name.

I think Salaw has been in power far too long. I don’t think any Dem. would dare try to primary him, but the Democratic state Senators in other regions have to be getting really tired of Saslaw’s arrogant and dictatorial attitude so maybe there is a glimmer of hope of someone challenging him for the majority leader position.
