UPDATE: Also, Robert Hurt repeats the Politifact “Lie of the Year” – “a government takeover of health care.” I still can’t believe 5th CD voters collectively decided to replace a superb Congressman like Tom Perriello with this guy. Biggest Congressional downgrade ever?

  • Dan Sullivan

Jamie Radtke may not have dabbled in witchcraft, but her views are steeped in voodoo. However, Marshall and Stewart make her look damn near reasonable, so that may center her in the Republican primary. Oh what joy!

On the other hand, our own lump of coal seems to read the first paragraph of a “blog” and run with it:

“Gov. Bob McDonnell may have missed an opportunity to unveil his proposal to borrow $2.9 billion over the next three years for roads and bridges with unified Republican support already behind it.” -WaPo , emphasis added to help lazy readers.

But Ward has a history of this kind of one-liner, knee jerk analysis. You might recall the story about then state senator Ken Stolle slipping a bill by Armstrong.

  • Biggest Congressional downgrade ever?

The answer is yes.  And I don’t even mean that as a knock on Hurt, who I’m guessing is going to be better than Goode just because it’s almost impossible not to be. It’s just that Perriello was that great…
