Olberman is right, the window is closing on any chance that we can take back our government—– and, where is the outrage? No one is going into the streets. It is no longer enough to say this is Democrats versus Republicans, the Democrats in Washington are by and large complicit in the carnage; the Democratic base was explicitly dissed by its suppossed leader when he cut The Deal. We have no rallying point, no organizers to get us going, and, more importantly no leader to galvanize us, frame the issue, and, well, lead. All we have at the moment is the classic option of going underground to form a resistance and plan for future action, since clearly no one of national stature is going to stand up and challenge the sitting President of their own party…. not so far, anyway.
