As I noted in Part 1 of our interview, Ben Tribbett is running to become one of Virginia’s members on the Democratic National Committee (the election’s on June 2). In this segment, Ben talks about how there are many people who view a position on the DNC as no more than a “gold watch” or “lifetime achievement award.” Instead, Ben believes the DNC needs “at least one grassroots person…who wants to DO something with the position rather than BE something with the position.” Hard to argue with that!

P.S. I’ll post the remaining portions of my interview with Ben in coming days.

I think Ben means well in person but although I stopped following it his blog is known trash and he doesnt deserve to be represent the Democratic Party AT ALL…peddling garbage is NT how grassroots organizing or activism works.

(case in point: outing Krystal Ball pics because she was playing with a toy that I have seen in 99% of all bachelorette parties in DC. Well, she is on MSNBC now and hopefully Ben will remain a nobody after June 2nd)
