Great stuff from John Bell for Delegate. Go John!

Retired Air Force Major John Bell, Democratic candidate for the House of Delegates in the 87th district, again posted strong fundraising numbers. For the second period in a row John Bell outraised his opponent and currently holds a significant cash advantage proving that this will be the most competitive House of Delegates race in the Commonwealth this year.

John raised more than $50,000 from 260 donors between April 1 and May 29th. The campaign has raised more than $160,000 from nearly 550 people in total for the race.

Continuing the trend of strong grassroots support from across the district almost 90% of donations this period were $250 dollars or less.

“Its an honor to have so many people from all over the district standing with us and joining our team,” John Bell said. “Every donation our campaign receives is another person standing up and saying they have had enough of David Ramadan's extremism. As our team grows, we will continue to reach out to Virginians who want leaders who will address our transportation needs, protect our jobs, and who will work together to tackle the real issues that face families in the Commonwealth instead of obsessing on the radical politics that divides us.”

In the same period David Ramadan, the Republican incumbent, raised under $50,000 from less than 80 donors and has just over $56,000 in the bank compared to John Bell's nearly $98,000.
