From the LuAnn Bennett for Congress campaign:

McLean – Today, the LuAnn Bennett for Congress campaign released its first television ad entitled “Table,” which focuses on LuAnn’s background as a small business owner and contrasts her work as a common-sense problem solver with today’s dysfunctional Congress. Watch the full ad here; full script below.

“In business, you bring everyone to the table and work to get results. Congress just doesn’t get that,” Bennett says in the ad. “I approve this message because Washington needs more common sense problem solvers.”

The ad also touches on LuAnn’s compelling personal story. LuAnn and her late-husband Rick Bennett, moved to Great Falls, Virginia in 1980 after marrying. In 1994, Rick suddenly passed away due to leukemia. After his passing, LuAnn raised the couple’s three boys as a single mother, and took over the family business in the middle of a real estate recession, never missing a payroll. As head of the Bennett Group, a real estate and construction company, LuAnn’s projects helped create more than 1,000 local jobs and generated millions of dollars in economic impact for the region.

“Congress is dysfunctional and Northern Virginia needs new leadership to break through the gridlock and get results for our families,” stated Bennett campaign spokesman Robert Howard. “That’s what LuAnn Bennett brings from her experience in business, someone who knows how to work with anyone to solve problems and get things done.”

The ad will be broadcasted across the 10th district on broadcast, cable and digital media channels.
