Video: Corey Stewart, Frank Wagner Rip Ed Gillespie for Not Being Quite as Extremist as They Are

At the Virginia GOP Governor’s Debate in Hanover this weekend, Corey Stewart vows to sign legislation to prohibit abortions after 20 weeks with ZERO exceptions (e.g., for the life/health of the mother, in the cases of rape/incest) and attacks Ed Gillespie for not being as extreme as he is. Stewart also claims that late-term abortion “amounts to infanticide.”

Also, Frank Wagner rips the “absurdity” of Ed Gillespie’s (“someone who’s a lobbyist in Washington, the anointed one” who doesn’t know anything about the General Assembly) running for governor of Virginia. LOL

Finally, Corey Stewart says we shouldn’t be “subsidizing colleges and universities to teach a bunch of liberal garbage” and “political correctness” and he would eliminate those subsidies as governor. So much for UVA, Virginia Tech, etc. if Corey Stewart is (god forbid) elected governor…

  • Corey Stewart whinefest…er, fundraising email. LOL

    Lowell,

My campaign staff and volunteers worked their tails off for several weeks to gather over 15,000 signatures — more than any other campaign — to place my name on the ballot in the upcoming June 13 Republican Primary.

But Lowell, getting on the ballot is only the first step of the process.

You see, in Virginia, the rule has been that the first campaign to be in line to submit their signatures to the State Board of Elections the day the process opens up gets their name placed at the top of the ballot.

That process opened up this morning.

A group of my dedicated supporters camped out all night in the freezing cold to make sure my name was at the top of the ballot in the June 13 Republican Primary.

But “Establishment Ed” is now pressuring his buddy Terry McAuliffe’s State Board of Elections to cheat my campaign by changing the rules — AFTER the game is over.

I need your help to stop Establishment Ed’s cheating.

Can I count on you to please call the State Board of Elections at (804) 864-8924 immediately and urge them to stick with precedent and NOT change the rules after the game is over?

According to political experts, just having your name at the top of the ballot provides an extra 2-5 percent on Election Day.

That’s why my supporters camped out in the freezing cold all night to make sure they were the first ones to turn in our signatures.

Lowell, if you believe in playing by the rules . . .

If you believe in honor and integrity . . .

If you think it’s wrong to cheat your opponent by changing the rules after the game is over . . .

I’m asking you to please take a moment and call the State Board of Elections at (804) 864-8924 and urge them not to change the rules.

After you call the State Board of Elections, please go one step further and chip in a contribution to help me fight back against Establishment Ed’s underhanded tactics.

No matter the amount — $500, $250, $1505, $100, $50 or $35 — all I ask is that you please do all you can right to help me fight back against the cheating.

Thank you in advance for all you do.

    Thank you,

    Corey Stewart
