Predictit.org Has Perriello, Northam in Statistical Dead Heat; Dems Strong Favorites to Win 2017 VA Gov Race

I’m presenting these numbers from Predictit.org mostly for entertainment purposes, given the prediction markets’ miserable failure in 2016. Still, I guess it’s interesting to see what people think at this point — Ed Gillespie almost a lock as the Virginia GOP nominee for governor in 2017 (note: I agree with that prediction), Ralph Northam and Tom Perriello locked in a neck-and-neck contest for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination (note: I also agree that either Northam or Perriello could win on June 13), and Democrats heavily favored to hold the Virginia governorship in November (I tend to agree with that one as well, given Trump’s overwhelming unpopularity in Virginia; assuming that holds, of course, through Election Day 2017). What do you think?
