Washington, DC – Congresswoman Comstock can run from her constituents and she can avoid holding a town hall, but she can’t hide from the fact that Friday marks 1,000 days since she’s held a public town hall. You read that correctly, 1,000 days.

In honor of this momentous shameful occasion, her constituents from VA-10 will be delivering a cake to her Capitol Hill office and wishing her a happy 1,000 days of hiding in elevators, behind closed doors, and in the Washington, DC swamp – all without holding a public town hall.

WHO: VA-10 constituents and Dump Comstock members, but all are welcome to witness Comstock’s world famous dodges and to enjoy a slice of cake.

To mark this shameful occasion, Comstock’s constituents and Dump Comstock members delivered a cake to her Capitol Hill office frosted with the message, “Congratulations, 1,000 days without a town hall!” Comstock’s staff rejected the cake, making it clear that she can’t have her cake and dodge her constituents too.

Comstock’s constituents and members of Dump Comstock flooded Capitol Hill to mark Comstock’s 1,000^th day without a town hall. They began the day by greeting commuters at the Capitol South Metro station with a mobile billboard and free “Dump Comstock” buttons and stickers.
