Loudoun Senators and Delegates Call On Board of Supervisors to Amend Code Regarding Discharging a Firearm After Willowsford Incident

LEESBURG — Today eight members of the Loudoun delegation to the General Assembly sent a letter to the Loudoun Board of Supervisors calling on them to amend Loudoun’s policy regarding discharging a firearm in developed areas like the Aldie’s Willowsford community.

The letter is in response to news reports and accounts from Sunday when bullets fired from an outdoor shooting area struck three homes in the community.

The letter was released by Senator Jennifer Wexton (D-33) and Delegate John Bell (D- 87), and was signed by Senator Barbara Favola (D-31) and Delegates Jennifer Boysko (D- 86), Karrie Delaney (D- 67), Wendy Gooditis (D- 10), Kathleen Murphy (D- 34), and David Reid (D- 32nd).
