The Korean Peninsula is on the verge of reuniting and becoming an economic powerhouse with China as its partner, not the United States. Trump is way down the learning curve and is responsible for this diplomatic breakthrough only because he has isolated the United States and abdicated the economic power of the United States to China.

Remember the slow moving armored train that Kim took to Beijing twice to meet the new Chinese Emperor for Life, President Xi. Xi explained the Chinese plan to reunite Korea as part of the ascendancy of China as the economic power of the world. Trump and his administration will get no credit, and Xi may well get the Nobel Peace Prize.

Let’s celebrate one good thing that has come out of Trump’s incompetency.

Imagine though how the Chinese are laughing at us all the way to the bank, and the Chinese may get Trump re-elected to play him another four years. This is classic Chinese political genius.

Korean unification is still almost inconceivably far away. South Korea already IS an economic powerhouse and unification would be a giant burden on it. Simply ending constant provocation and saber rattling is what needs to happen now. If any Nobel Peace Prize comes of this it will go to Moon the South Korean president with Kim Jong-un as a likely co-recipient as this is the standard practice when two nations reach a major peace deal.
