Photos, Video: Richmond “Die-In” Against Fracked-Gas Pipelines, FOR Clean Air and Water

See below for photos and video from Richmond earlier today, where activists held a “Die-In” against fracked-gas pipelines and FOR clean air and water. From the activists’ press release:

“As Governor Northam and state legislators continue to ignore the destruction of the environment, and disregard rules to protect our streams and air, Virginians from across the state will hold a Die-in at the capitol. The purpose of this civil protest is to promote this message: Our cause is simple: we will not let up, we will not be silent, we will not go away until the two fracked gas pipelines slated for Virginia do. We gather to deliver a message to Governor Northam, his state agencies, and all our elected representatives: NO ACP, NO MVP, NO PIPELINES. The Governor and his agencies have the power to stop the pipelines.”

And it’s long past time he did so.
