Elaine Luria Campaign Releases First TV Ad in General Election Race for Virginia’s 2ndCongressional District
VIRGINIA BEACH – Today, Elaine Luria’s campaign for Congress released “Sea Change,” the first TV ad of the general election race for Virginia’s 2ndCongressional District. The full ad can be viewed here. It began airing on television in the district today.
The spot highlights Elaine’s 20 years of service in the Navy as one of the first women to serve her entire career on combatant ships and her six deployments in service to our country. In the ad, Commander Luria emphasizes her commitment to protecting Social Security and Medicare and fixing our broken healthcare system.
“In the Navy, I served with sailors from all walks of life to accomplish the mission at hand. That is the approach I will bring to Congress because, as a country, we must start working together against the bitter and divisive partisanship we see in Washington today. That change starts here in Virginia’s 2nd district.” said Elaine Luria.
