The Stench
Find out how Ken Cuccinelli's not just a tinfoil-hat, John Birch Society-style, extremist wackjob, he's also corrupt, in the The Continuing Chronicle of Ken Cuccinelli's Corruption. It really stinks!

Video: Obama Campaign Mocks Romney for Taking On Our #1 Enemy -- Big Bird!

by: lowkell

I have no idea whether this ad will be effective in moving voters, but Romney certainly deserves mocking for the absurdity of thinking that slashing Big Bird's funding, an utterly miniscule share of the federal budget, will have any impact on the deficit.

Am I the only (0.00 / 0)
one who finds this the least bit disheartening?  We have much bigger issues to discuss than Big Bird.  I like the President and will vote for him, but doesn't this ad lower even further the presidential race?  By doing this, I feel the President's campaign has lowered itself to Romney's level.

Sense of Humor (4.00 / 1)
All I see is a campaign with a sense of humor. Plus, humor in advertising is a proved way to get audience attention. The late Paul Wellstone won an election that way. Tom Perriello used his last name to great effect in 2008 with a humorous ad about people mispronouncing it. I simply see a sense of fun.

Agreed on all counts. (0.00 / 0)
This is humorous, will grab people's attention, and is a real issue (slashing PBS funding to pay for tax cuts to billionaires) to boot. WIN!
