That was fast. Within hours of county officials unofficially confirming their petition drive will fall far short, the group pushing to change Arlington’s government for the worse immediately scrubbed its website clean:
Given how much ire the group raised by putting its own interests ahead of the community’s, how poorly the campaign was run, and how embarrassingly it’s ending, it’s no surprise all parties involved would want to try to cut their ties to the stinking mess the petition drive is leaving behind.
