Happy 30th Birthday to Kip Malinosky

For those who haven’t had the pleasure to meet Kip Malinosky, I can attest to the fact that he’s both a great guy and also one of the best Democratic organizers and activists in Virginia. I met Kip in 2005, when the two of us spent primary day canvassing for David Englin. I was impressed with Kip, and I am even more impressed today, as Kip takes charge of precinct operations for the Democratic Party of Arlington.

Kip’s also a teacher and occasional blogger who has a million friends, several dozen of whom were at Whitlows in Arlington to wish him a happy 30th birthday. Elected officials and politicos included Del. Adam Ebbin, Arlington Revenue Commissioner Ingrid Morroy, Arlington School Board member Libby Garvey, former LG candidate Mike Signer, former Arlington School Board candidate Terron Sims, Arlington Young Democrats President Gordon Simonett, and former Virginia Liaison Office director Alfonso Lopez. It was fun hearing stories about Kip I’d never heard, at least one of which I won’t repeat in mixed company. Anyway, enjoy the video, and join me in wishing Kip a happy 30th!

More video after the “fold”, including a stirring rendition of “Happy Birthday!” 🙂
