Today is Virginia’s registration deadline to be eligible to vote in the November 2nd election. If you’re new to Virginia or have moved since the last election & you’ve been putting off updating your registration, no more procrastinating. Go to RaiseYourVote.com, fill out the form, print it out, sign it & take it to either your local voter registration office or a post office to get today’s postmark (it’s too late to take a chance on dropping it in a mailbox).
Just to be clear since people ask, if you’re still living in the same place where you’ve already registered previously, you don’t need to re-register. If you’ve moved recently & aren’t sure where or whether you’re registered, you can check your registration status through the Virginia Election & Registration Information System.
