Another Endorsement for Small Business Owner Mitchell in Race Against Career Politician Dick Black
Ashburn, VA – Today, the REALTOR Association of Prince William County (PWAR) announced their support of small business owner and combat veteran Shawn Mitchell for the State Senate, District 13 over career politician Dick Black.
Their support follows Mitchell earning the Top Business Support rating score from Virginia FREE and the recent endorsement of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors PAC (NV/RPAC).
“We’re proud to be supporting Shawn Mitchell’s campaign for State Senate,” said Forrest Odend'hal, President of the REALTOR Association of Prince William (PWAR). “Realtors and home owners in Prince William should know that Shawn will be the strongest advocate for them in the State Senate to help jumpstart our housing market and get our economy moving again.”
The REALTOR Association of Prince William, or PWAR as it is known, is the largest trade association in Prince William County. Its members consist of over 2000 REALTORS and 100 Affiliates.
“I’m pleased to have the support of the REALTOR Association of Prince William,” said Shawn Mitchell. “The challenges Realtors and small businesses face in this tough economy will require a strong advocate in the State Senate as we move through this difficult period. As your State Senator, I will support policies to jumpstart our economy, improve our quality of life in Prince William and Loudoun counties, and implement common sense solutions that get us out of the transportation crisis that hinders our every day lives.”
Shawn Mitchell lives in Broadlands with his wife Ashley and daughter Isabella. He is a combat veteran who served in Bosnia and Iraq and owns a small business in the 13th District.
