Stunning polling results in VA 8 Congressional Primary

The Shuttleworth for Congress campaign announced today the results of a poll conducted from 7-11 May, 2012:

    Undecided: 65%

    Bruce Shuttleworth: 16%

    Jim Moran: 19%

Shuttleworth stated, “This election will go down to the wire. We have a real horse race here. Every vote will count. It is stunning that after more than two decades in Congress, almost two thirds of likely Democratic primary voters remain unconvinced by the incumbent. If the voters are hungry for new blood and ethical progressive leadership, I’m here to serve.”

“I am confident that my message will resonate with undecided voters. I remain committed to fighting for effective and ethical government, universal health care, protection of the vulnerable, bold investments in clean energy and responsibly growing our economy.”

“Tell your friends this race is winnable. Tell your neighbors, every vote will count! Vote June 12th for real change inVA-8. Vote Shuttleworth.”

The results are from Gravis Marketing’s polling data of likely Democratic voters in Virginia’s 8th Congressional District.
