It’s Virginia House Speaker Bill “ALEC” Howell’s birthday, and I think that calls for some birthday present ideas. Here are a few; please add your own in the comments section and we’ll see what the best ideas are. Here are a few suggestions.
*A lifetime membership in corporate front group ALEC. Oh wait, he’s already on the ALEC board, so he’s probably a lifetime member already.
*A gift certificate to The Gap, in “honor” of the coverage gap he’s largely responsible for (not to mention the millions of dollars a day of Virginia taxpayers’ money he’s handing out to other states).
*A heart.
*A conscience.
*A clue.
P.S. You could always call his office (540-371-1612) and wish him a heartfelt happy birthday…if not for yourself, then on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of Virginians who Howell is almost singlehandedly keeping from access to affordable health care, etc. 🙁
