Vice Chair of the Arlington School Board’s support gives Ebbin a majority of endorsements from School Board
Alexandria, Va. – James Lander, Vice Chair of the Arlington School Board, endorsed Senator Adam Ebbin for the House of Representatives in Virginia’s Eighth Congressional District. With Lander’s support, a majority of the Arlington School Board members have now endorsed Ebbin.
“Over the years I have gotten to know Adam, I have found him to be a strong supporter of education. In Washington, we need a strong progressive voice for our children, and I know Senator Ebbin will be that voice,” said Lander
“I am proud to earn the support of School Board member James Lander,” said Ebbin. “James has been a tireless advocate for education in Arlington, including being a champion of innovate strategies to close the achievement gap. His support reflects my commitment to providing the best education possible for our nation’s children.”
Other Arlington School Board members who have endorsed Ebbin are Emma Violand-Sanchez and Sally Baird.
Virginia Senator Adam P. Ebbin took office in January 2012 after serving for eight years in the House of Delegates and is the co-chair of the General Assembly’s Progressive Caucus. He is running to represent Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church and portions of Fairfax County in the United States House of Representatives.
