The Republicans have been frantically, disgracefully smearing VA-05 Democratic nominee Leslie Cockburn, even claiming that…well, check out this slime. Which is all the more reason why VA-05 voters should elect Cockburn to Congress on 11/6 and send a message of rejection to the Virginia Republicans who engage in the gutter tactics we’ve seen from them in this race. VA-05 voters should also reject the extremism of Denver Riggleman, who doesn’t think that health care is a right, who calls climate science into question, and who badly wants to be part of the far-right “Freedom Caucus” of Dave Brat, Jim Jordan, etc. So check out the video of this afternoon’s rally in Charlottesville for Leslie Cockburn starring Olivia Wilde, Tom Perriello and a big/enthused crowd.
