Of course, there are many impressive candidates running in Virginia this year, including in districts ranging from deep-red to deep blue. For my money, I’d rank Jennifer Lewis — running in one of those deep-red districts — very high on the list of “most impressive candidates of 2018.” Among other qualities I’d use to describe her, Lewis is authentic, honest, open, passionate, knowledgeable, smart, caring and compassionate.
