Senate District 7 (Virginia Beach City, Norfolk City; 54% Northam district): Note that incumbent Republican Sen. Frank Wagner is retiring, meaning this is an open seat. Democratic challengers are Kim Howard, Susan Hippen and possibly Del. Cheryl Turpin.
Senate District 10 (Chesterfield County, Richmond City, Powhatan County; 57% Northam district): Republican incumbent Glen Sturtevant; Democratic challengers are Eileen Bedell, Ghazala Hashmi, Zachary Brown.
Senate District 11 (Chesterfield County, Colonial Heights City, Amelia County; 53% Gillespie district): Faar-right Republican incumbent Amanda Chase; Democratic challengers Amanda Pohl and Wayne Powell
Senate District 12 (Henrico and Hanover Counties; 52% Northam district): Republican incumbent Siobhan Dunnavant; Democratic challengers Del. Debra Rodman and Veena Lothe.
Senate District 13 (Loudoun, Prince William Counties; 55% Northam district): Republican incumbent Dick Black is not running for reelection; Democratic candidates are Del. John Bell, Lucero Wiley, Jasmine Moawad-Barrientos
Senate District 16 (Richmond City, Chesterfield County, Petersburg City, Hopewell City, Prince George County, Dinwiddie County; 70% Northam district): Democratic incumbent Sen. Rosalyn Dance possibly being challenged by former Del. Joe Morrissey.
Senate District 17 (Spotsylvania, Orange, Albemarle, Louisa, Culpeper Counties and Fredericksburg City; 50% Gillespie district): Republican incumbent Sen. Bryce Reeves; Democratic candidates Ben Hixon and Amy Laufer.
Senate District 28 (Stafford, Prince William, King George, Spotsylvania, Westmoreland Counties; 54% Gillespie district): Republican incumbent Richard Stuart; Democratic candidates Laura Sellers and Qasim Rashid.
Senate District 31 (Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun Counties; 71% Northam district): Incumbent Democratic Sen. Barbara Favola vs. Democratic challenger Nicole Merlene.
Senate District 33 (Loudoun and Fairfax Counties; 67% Northam district): Incumbent Sen. Jennifer Boysko vs. Democratic challenger Sharafat Hussain.
Senate District 35 (Fairfax County, Alexandria and Falls Church Cities; 75% Northam district): Incumbent Democratic Sen. Dick Saslaw vs. Democratic challengers Yasmine Taeb and Karen Torrent.
