This is sick sh**, but sadly not at all surprising given that the Republican Party has become the Party of Trump and Trumpism. That means viciousness, rage, dangerous rhetoric and bigotry (against Muslims, immigrants, African Americans, you name it), among its many other lovely qualities. The question, as always, is why *anyone* remains in this party. I guess, at this point, we have to conclude that people who are *still* Republicans either a) agree with this type of behavior; or b) don’t care. Either way, it’s beyond appalling.
