“No matter how hard he tries, Senator Sturtevant can’t run away from his voting record,” said campaign manager Philip Stein. “The truth is Senator Sturtevant voted in lockstep with his Republican colleagues to oppose Medicaid expansion, denying access to health coverage to 400,000 Virginians, and block common sense gun safety laws even after the tragedy in Virginia Beach.
