Last night on far-right, conspiracy theory cable TV “news” channel “Newsmax,” VA GOP gubernatorial candidate Pete Snyder derogatorily called Levar Stoney “Terry McAuliffe’s former bag boy” who “got elected mayor of Virginia” [sic – obviously, Stoney is mayor of Richmond, not of Virginia] supposedly “told the police to stand down” (he did? source?). But really…”bag boy?” What is that even supposed to mean? (note: on Urban Dictionary, one of the definitions is “A person who sells and distributes drugs with the transaction taking place through the use of a brown paper bag.”) Who knows with Pete Snyder, other than that he’s basically become a caricature these days, spewing out rightwing-talking-point “word salads” as he desperately tries to win the VA GOP gubernatorial nomination over Amanda Chase, Kirk Cox, Glenn Youngkin, and other assorted right wingnuts. Pitiful.
