Monday (4/12) Virginia Data on COVID-19 Finds +1,310 Confirmed/Probable Cases (to 636,862), +28 Hospitalizations (to 27,229), +14 Deaths (to 10,486)

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (4/12), in Virginia we’re at 636,862 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 27,229 hospitalizations and 10,486 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,310 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,227 (+0.3%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 28 (+0.1%), which is a slightly slower rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 40 (+0.2%).  Deaths are reported +14 compared to +14 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,710,355 (up 12,246 from yesterday).
