So, at this point (5/13), in Virginia we’re at 668,726 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 29,103 hospitalizations and 10,961 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 579 (+0.1%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 561 (+0.1%) . As for hospitalizations, they went up 65 (+0.2%), which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 67 (+0.2%). Deaths are reported +27 compared to +15 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 7,222,688 (up 15,574 from yesterday).
