Saturday (6/12) Virginia Data on COVID-19: Hospitalizations, 10-Day New COVID Cases Near Lowest Points Since Start of Pandemic

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (6/12) in Virginia we’re at 677,671 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 30,150 hospitalizations and 11,293 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases was 141 (+0.02%) in the latest statistics, the same rate of increase as yesterday’s 105 (+0.02%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 28 (+0.1%), the same rate of increase as yesterday’s +36 (+0.1%).  Deaths are reported +10 compared to +13 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 7,545,686 (up 10,154 from yesterday).
