Terry Recruited CoStar From North Carolina After NC Passed Infamous Right-Wing, Anti-LGBTQ Legislation – Highlighting The Importance Of Keeping The Commonwealth Open And Welcoming For Businesses
MCLEAN, VA – Terry for Virginia released a new TV ad “Good Life” highlighting Terry McAuliffe’s strong record on bringing jobs to Virginia and making Virginia an open and welcoming state to all. The ad features CoStar Vice President Corey Durant praising Terry’s work as Virginia’s 72nd Governor to bring CoStar to Virginia, which created over 1,000 jobs in the Commonwealth. Terry recruited CoStar from North Carolina after the state passed now infamous right-wing, anti-LGBTQ+ legislation – highlighting the importance of keeping the Commonwealth open and welcoming for businesses. Similarly, after the draconian Texas abortion ban passed last week, Terry made it clear to major companies that he will never allow such dangerous and divisive social agendas to pass here in Virginia.
As Virginia’s 72nd Governor, Terry created over 200,000 good paying jobs in the Commonwealth, attracted major employers from around the country, brought unemployment down in every city and county in Virginia, and increased personal income by 14%. Terry is running for governor to rebuild a stronger post-COVID economy that creates good jobs, invests in education and workers, and keeps Virginia open and welcoming to all. Terry delivered real results for Virginia families as governor before and he will do it again. |
