Terry for Virginia Releases Closing Argument Ad: “Ideas”

MCLEAN, VA – Terry for Virginia today released the campaign’s closing ad “Ideas,” highlighting Terry McAuliffe’s record of moving Virginia forward – a message that launched the campaign in January and will carry it through Election Day. As governor, Terry worked in a bipartisan way to build a stronger economy, creating 200,000 new jobs and making a record $1 billion investment in Virginia’s education system, and as Virginia’s next governor, Terry will build on that progress.

Glenn Youngkin has spent his entire campaign pushing Donald Trump’s divisive, dangerous agenda across the Commonwealth, from ending a woman’s right to choose to defunding public education. On Tuesday, Virginia voters will head to the polls to reject Glenn Youngkin and vote for Terry McAuliffe to build on his strong ideas and keep Virginia moving forward.

TRANSCRIPT

Terry McAuliffe: When I was governor, I had a simple rule. There were no Republican ideas or Democratic ideas, only good ideas.

And I’m proud we worked together, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs, a record investment in education, and we moved Virginia forward.

But today, there are those who want to take us back. They’re looking to cut money from public education and eliminate a woman’s right to choose. We cannot let that happen.

I’m asking for your vote. Working together, we will build a better future for Virginia.
