Virginia Sets New Records For 1-Day New COVID Cases (+13,500) and 10-Day New COVID Cases (+77,202)

See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,100,900, up a whopping 13,500 since the Wednesday morning report (the highest one-day increase since the pandemic began), and up a massive 77,202 over the past 10 days (the highest 10-day increase since the pandemic began). As for hospitalizations according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 41,592, up 255 from 41,592 in the Wednesday morning statistics. And deaths are at 15,565, up 24 from 15,541 in the Wednesday morning statistics.
