Virginia COVID-19 Cases Up 126,823 Over the Past 10 Days; Hospitalizations at Highest Level Since January 2021

See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,176,159, up 15,456 since the Monday morning report and up a massive 126,823 over the past 10 days – the highest 10-day increase since the pandemic began. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 43,267, up 432 from the Monday morning statistics. And deaths are at 15,622, up 7 from the Monday morning statistics.
