As you can see, total cases hit 1,491,993, up 10,699 since the Monday morning report and up 140,576 over the past 10 days. That’s significantly lower than last Tuesday’s 10-day increase of 186,367; has the Omicron wave finally started to decline? As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 47,267, up 97 from the Monday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,603). And deaths are at 16,002, up 54 from the Monday morning statistics.
