Senator Jon Tester To Headline Democratic Party of Virginia’s Blue Commonwealth Gala
Richmond, VA – The Democratic Party of Virginia is proud to announce that Senator Jon Tester from Montana will be the keynote speaker at the 5th annual Blue Commonwealth Gala, which will be held on the evening of Friday, May 13th, at the historic Richmond Main Street Station.
Virginia Democratic Party Chairwoman Susan Swecker released the following statement:
“Senator Jon Tester has been a fierce fighter for working families and rural America in the United States Senate. Working with our very own Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, Senator Tester has led the charge to pass historic legislation, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which is addressing the crucial needs here in Virginia and across the country. We are thrilled to have Senator Tester be our keynote speaker for this year’s Blue Commonwealth Gala as we work to re-elect our Democrats in Congress and defend our historic progress.”
