New Poll Finds Joel Griffin Leads Race for Senate District 27
Fredericksburg, VA – Today, the Joel Griffin campaign released an internal poll conducted by Hart Research Associates of likely 2023 General Election Voters in Senate District 27, finding that Joel Griffin currently leads the race by a 3-point margin.
The research finds that Griffin is currently at a net 16% favorability rating while Durant is at a net 1% favorability rating. Moreover, Durant’s campaign has been significantly damaged by the third party candidate on the ballot and a write-in campaign by Durant’s Republican primary opponent. The lack of support and enthusiasm for Durant is palpable in the data and is consistent with what the Griffin team is seeing on the ground.
Voters resonate with Griffin’s powerful personal story and commitment to the community, and aren’t convinced by Durant’s misleading and false attacks. Joel Griffin is on track to win in November and once elected, will fight to protect abortion rights, defend public schools, and maintain a strong regional economy.
