Gov. Wes Moore to Help Get Out the Vote Ahead of Virginia Elections

BALTIMORE, MD – On November 4th, Governor Wes Moore will be in Virgina to campaign for democrats up and down the ballot ahead of Tuesday’s elections.

“We all know the stakes in Tuesday’s elections, and that’s why I’m visiting our neighboring state of Virginia to get the vote out,” said Gov. Wes Moore. “In Maryland, we like to say we leave no one behind, and we mean it. Abortion rights. Funded public education. Common sense gun laws. Voting rights. We stand up for our freedoms in this country, and we won’t let those freedoms be bound by geography.”

“Virginia Democrats couldn’t be more excited to welcome Governor Wes Moore to the Commonwealth to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot,” said Susan Swecker, Chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Virginia. “Since taking office, Governor Moore has championed abortion rights in Maryland which are on the line here in Virginia a week from today. With his help, we will go into Election Day with the enthusiasm we need to flip the House of Delegates, keep the State Senate blue, and elect Democrats at the local level!”
