Good news from the Eugene Vindman for Congress (VA07) campaign:
Republican Congressman Denver Riggleman Endorses Eugene Vindman for Congress
Dale City, VA – Today, former Republican Congressman Denver Riggleman endorses Eugene Vindman in his race for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.
Mr Riggleman said, “Eugene Vindman is the independent, bipartisan voice that Virginia’s 7th Congressional District needs right now. As Virginians everywhere face rising costs and continued attempts to tear away basic rights and freedoms – Eugene is the only candidate in this race with the demonstrated courage to stand up for what’s right.”
When Eugene Vindman was jumping out of airplanes over the course of his 25-year military career, it didn’t matter the race, creed, background, or if the soldier next to him was a Democrat, Republican or Independent, what mattered was completing the mission at hand. That’s how Eugene Vindman will represent Virginia’s 7th in Congress starting next year.
Congressman Riggleman served as the Republican representative from Virginia’s 5th Congressional District through 2021.
He represented an area just west of Virginia’s 7th District and understands the key issues facing the Piedmont region such as investing in rural infrastructure, clean drinking water, and ensuring our small farmers are supported and can succeed.

Colonel (fmr.) Eugene Vindman, U.S. Army (ret.), was born in Soviet Ukraine. His family arrived as refugees with less than $800 in their pockets and worked hard to achieve the American dream. Vindman joined the U.S. Army after college, serving around the world including a combat tour in Iraq. In 2019, while serving on the White House National Security Council as the senior ethics attorney, he blew the whistle on the infamous phone call in which President Trump attempted to extort Ukraine unless it investigated Joe Biden. Trump’s vengeance cost him his career. Now, Colonel Vindman is running to represent Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, to preserve democracy and advocate for Virginia voters.
