Kiggans offers nothing but glowing praise as thousands of Veterans lose their jobs and VA plans to cut 80,000 employees
Vulnerable Republican Jen Kiggans had an opportunity this week to stand up for Virginia veterans and speak out against the administration for firing thousands of our nation’s heroes and for their plan to gut the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which would jeopardize access to health care and earned benefits.
Instead? Kiggans issued a full-throated endorsement: “Thank you, Mr. Secretary.”
Reminder: Virginia’s Second Congressional District is home to more than 80,000 veterans – nearly 15% of the district.
