Ad buy is DCCC’s first paid digital communications of 2026 cycle

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced its first national digital ad buy of the 2026 cycle. The four-figure digital ad buy, which begins this week on Meta, slams vulnerable House Republicans for their ‘YES’ vote on the Big, Ugly Bill and the havoc it will wreak on America’s rural hospitals, threatening lifesaving care. The individualized ads are slated to run in all 35 of the DCCC’s Districts in Play.

See a selection of the ads below [note by Lowell – I added screenshots of the ads against Jen Kiggans in VA02 and Rob Wittman in VA01 as well):

Research from the DCCC on the Big, Ugly Bill shows that the threat of rural hospitals closing due to Medicaid cuts, leaving many Americans without access to lifesaving care, is one of the most unpopular elements of their bill.

As a reminder, studies have determined that the Big, Ugly Bill’s massive cuts to Medicaid risks the closure of hundreds of rural hospitals across the country. Independent experts have also estimated that the GOP Tax Scam could result in 17 million people uninsured, while nearly 24 million people will see their monthly health care costs increase.

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Vulnerable House Republicans’ incredibly cruel vote to jeopardize hospitals in their districts and across America is going to cost them their jobs and the majority. The DCCC is making sure that every battleground voter knows that instead of lowering costs for American families, Republicans are ripping away health care for millions and cutting funding for hospitals, all to pay for massive tax breaks for their billionaire donors.”
