That’s right, the guy (far-right VA State Senator Bryce Reeves) who said, back in 2023, that Democrats should be taken “to the train station” has announced that he’s running for US Senate against Sen. Mark Warner next year. As reporter Brandon Jarvis said at the time, “I mean this appears to be a Yellowstone themed fundraiser, and on Yellowstone when they take you to the train station, it’s in a town in Wyoming with a population of zero and no law enforcement and they kill you and throw you off a cliff.” Appropriately enough, the opening shot in Reeves’ campaign video is of…yep, a train! LOL

And check this out, with Reeves saying about the 1/6/21 violent/pro-Trump insurrection: “So my personal belief was it wasn’t an insurrection and it was the epitome of the American people who were frustrated with their government and not being able to actually talk to anyone and it boiled over.”
Also see here, about a completely unhinged, LIE-filled ad that Reeves ran, in which he (among other things) ranted: “While our communities are burning to the ground by extremists and our history being destroyed, the left ignores these issues.”
Anyway, the bottom line is that Sen. Mark Warner should and MUST crush Reeves next year, assuming Reeves is even the GOP nominee. Because the thought of such a far-right extremist as a US Senator from Virginia is basically the equivalent of looking into a dark tunnel, seeing a light and then realizing it’s an oncoming train about to run you over (to keep that “Yellowstone” reference going)…
P.S. Not that we should ever take anything for granted, but having said that, it’s hard to imagine that Sen. Mark Warner would be anything but pleased if Virginia Republicans nominate Bryce Reeves for US Senate next year. Why? Because Reeves is hard right, a total MAGA cultist, has ZERO appeal to moderates or independents, etc.
