RICHMOND, Va. — Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger today announced the formation of the “United for Virginia’s Future” transition team’s policy committees and leadership.
Each committee is dedicated to preparing Governor-elect Spanberger’s administration to begin implementing her vision to lower costs, protect Virginia’s economy, keep Virginia’s communities safe, and provide more opportunities for the next generation of Virginians on day one.
“To deliver on the leadership that Virginians have made clear they want — leadership that will always put Virginia first — the Commonwealth needs experts at the table, and these Virginians bring valuable expertise from various sectors that help them understand the challenges facing communities across the Commonwealth,” said Governor-elect Spanberger. “They will play a critical role in delivering results for Virginia families and building a stronger, safer, and more affordable future for all Virginians.”
