RICHMOND, Va. — Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger today announced the formation of the “United for Virginia’s Future” transition team’s policy committees and leadership.

Each committee is dedicated to preparing Governor-elect Spanberger’s administration to begin implementing her vision to lower costs, protect Virginia’s economy, keep Virginia’s communities safe, and provide more opportunities for the next generation of Virginians on day one.

“To deliver on the leadership that Virginians have made clear they want — leadership that will always put Virginia first — the Commonwealth needs experts at the table, and these Virginians bring valuable expertise from various sectors that help them understand the challenges facing communities across the Commonwealth,” said Governor-elect Spanberger. “They will play a critical role in delivering results for Virginia families and building a stronger, safer, and more affordable future for all Virginians.”

Governor-elect Spanberger: “These Leaders Are United for One Purpose: Putting Virginia First”

RICHMOND, Va. — Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger today announced the selection of her “United for Virginia’s Future” transition committee.

Under the leadership of the transition co-chairs, the committee will help lay the groundwork of Governor-elect Spanberger’s administration focused on lowering costs, expanding economic opportunity, increasing business investment in Virginia’s economy, and creating a safer Commonwealth for all Virginia families.

“These Virginians not only bring together deep ties from across every region of our Commonwealth, but the experience, integrity, and know-how required to deliver the pragmatic and principled leadership that Virginians overwhelmingly voted for this November,” said Governor-elect Spanberger. “These leaders are united for one purpose: putting Virginia first. They will help ensure my administration is ready on day one to begin saving Virginians money, protecting Virginia’s jobs and small businesses, and strengthening the security of our Commonwealth.”
