See below for a press release from the DCCC on Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA02)’s vote against “extending ACA tax credits as health care costs skyrocket for Virginians.” On, and note that Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA01) and Rep. John McGuire (R-VA05), both of whom could be very vulnerable this coming November, also voted to screw over their constituents. Definitely something to keep in mind this coming fall election season…
| BREAKING: Jen Kiggans Votes Against Extending ACA Tax Credits As Health Care Costs Skyrocket for Virginians |
|
| Kiggans allowed ACA tax credits to expire, and now she just sided with his D.C. party bosses to keep it that way |
|
| Amid rising unemployment, skyrocketing grocery prices, and climbing utility costs, Congresswoman Jen Kiggans is hellbent on delivering another suckerpunch to Virginia: raising health insurance premiums.
Kiggans just voted against advancing the BIPARTISAN measure that would extend ACA tax credits for three years, proving she is working to make life more expensive for Virginians.
Reminder: Kiggans joined meaningless letters claiming that she wants to do something about the ACA tax credits. But when push comes to shove, Kiggans votes to allow health care costs to skyrocket.
As a result of Kiggans’ cruelty, millions of Americans and more than 388,000 Virginians are facing increased health care costs, causing many to abandon their coverage altogether.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Hundreds of thousands of Virginians are seeing their health care bills skyrocket, and Congresswoman Jen Kiggans is to blame. Her failure to lower costs will be why she loses her job come November.” |
