Campaign finance reports for the fourth quarter of 2025 were due to the FEC yesterday. See below for some Virginia highlights/takeaways:

U.S. Senate: Sen. Mark Warner had net contributions of $1,729,878 in 4Q25 — and a massive $13,365,586 cash on hand. His potential Republican opponents had almost nothing (e.g., Kim Farington had just $11,464 cash on hand, while Bryce Reeves – who dropped out – had just $20,083 cash on hand). Note: no Democratic primary opponents’ fundraising is currently listed by the FEC. (Takeaway: Sen. Warner is cruising to reelection at the current time, with no sign that this situation will change)

VA01: Rep. Rob Wittman (R) had net contributions of $309,356 in 4Q25, with $3,178,994 cash on hand. Democratic candidate Shannon Taylor had net contributions of $376,520 and cash on hand of $480,968; Democratic candidate Salaam Bhatti had net contributions of $24,680 and cash on hand of $56,853; Democratic candidate Melvin Tull had net contributions of $37,461 and cash on hand of $44,668, etc. (Takeaway: Rob Wittman continues to have a big cash-on-hand advantage, but he was outraised by Democrat Shannon Taylor in 4Q25.)

VA02: Rep. Jen Kiggans (R) had net contributions of $426,201 in 4Q25, with $2,317,913 cash on hand. Democratic candidate Elaine Luria had net contributions of $1,126,427 in 4Q25, with $1,010,268 cash on hand; Democratic candidate Matt Strickler had $218,114 in net contributions in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $153,745; Democratic candidate Nila Devanath had net contributions of $199,810 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $150,552; etc. (Takeaway: Jen Kiggans maintains a cash-on-hand advantage, but she was outraised nearly 3:1 by former Rep. Elaine Luria in 4Q25, and is in deep, deep trouble politically – even without redistricting.)

VA05: Rep. John McGuire (R) had net contributions of $176,130 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $314,375. Democratic candidate Tom Perriello had net contributions of $712,825 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $676,616; Democratic candidate Mike Pruitt had net contributions of $148,173 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of  $154,524; etc. (Takeaway: John McGuire trails leading Democratic challenger Tom Perriello in cash-on-hand, and also was HEAVILY outraised by Perriello in 4Q25. McGuire is in deep trouble come November if there are new maps, and even if there aren’t new maps, he could lose…)

VA06: Rep. Ben Cline (R) had net contributions of $175,354 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $521,194. Democratic candidate Beth Macy had net contributions of $618,816 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $527,709; Democratic candidate Ken Mitchell had net contributions of $1,910 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $34,760; Democratic candidate Pete Barlow had net contributions of $26,690 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $20,363. (Takeaway: Ben Cline is in a solid-red district, for now at least, but in terms of money, he was heavily outraised in 4Q25 by Democrat Beth Macy, and now narrowly trails Macy in cash-on-hand.)

VA07: Rep. Eugene Vindman (D) had net contributions of $1,643,676, in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $4,121,321. Republican candidate Tara Durant had net contributions of $27,524 in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $222,517; Republican candidate John Gray had net contributions of $32,692, with cash on hand of $105,986; etc. (Takeaway: Eugene Vindman is absolutely crushing his “leading” – in air quotes – Republican challenger, Tara Durant, in terms of 4Q25 fundraising and cash-on-hand. Vindman is looking to be in great shape for reelection in November.)

VA10: Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D) had net contributions of $233,104, in 4Q25, with cash on hand of $462,433. No Republican candidate fundraising is listed by the FEC. (Takeaway: Suhas Subramanyam is cruising to reelection in VA10, with Republicans clearly not having their act together at all.)
