Elaine Luria (D-VA02) and Shannon Taylor, who’s been running in VA01 to take on Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA01), although Taylor recently announced “her intention to run for Congress in Virginia’s newly proposed 5th Congressional District upon passage of new maps.” Confusing? Well, yeah, actually…it really is, especially since we don’t even know for sure at this point whether or not the redistricting amendment will withstand court scrutiny AND be approved by voters on April 21. So…stay tuned, I guess; never a dull moment in Virginia politics! LOL
