Excellent thread by Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn:

Our Democratic majority has accomplished so much for Virginians over the last 2 years, and our Commonwealth is much better off because of the work of some of our incredible delegates who unfortunately will not be be returning in January.

Thank you to @nancyguyva for her tireless efforts to improve our Commonwealth, from supporting child care subsidies for Virginia’s working families to keeping our beautiful beaches clean. The people of Hampton Roads are lucky to have had her serving on their behalf.

.@ChrisHurstVA has been a consistent advocate to get Southwest Virginians their fair share. His work to raise teacher pay for local public school teachers, expand broadband access to the area, and make drug prices more transparent has made a real difference for his community.

Our incredible Education Committee Chair @TylerDelegate has spent her years in the House supporting increased funding for schools, more affordable health care coverage, & expanded access to broadband for rural communities. The 75th district will miss Roz, such a strong advocate.

One of the youngest members elected to the House, @JoshuaCole has taken on issues that matter to Virginians, like combating climate change, increasing access to health care, and raising the minimum wage. His Fredericksburg community is in a much better place because of his work.

The 63rd district has had an unwavering advocate in @delegateaird. Her legislation has helped reform our criminal justice system, expand access to clean water for every Virginian, and combat infant mortality.

All of these incredible delegates have been bold leaders & have changed our Commonwealth for the better. I am so grateful for their amazing contributions to our caucus. We will miss them dearly but I am confident they will continue to make a difference in their communities.
