Probability of Virginia/DC Area Mega-Snowstorm Seems to Be Increasing

    First, the maximum snowfall we could get from this storm.

    Next, the probability of 18 inches of snow or more from this storm.

    Of course, this whole thing could be a bust (either too far west or east, doesn’t intensify enough, etc.), such as in this map, but right now it seems to be shaping up as a potentially serious “Nor’easter” for the DC area and big swaths of Virginia. At this rate, kids will be going to school after July 4 to make up for all the snow days…
